HMCS TRENTONIAN’s ship’s company was given a 24 hour stand down from training evolution’s to recover and clean ship from a severe storm while sailing to Bermuda in February 1944. During the worst of the storm, crew members reported the 208 foot corvette was in 90 foot waves, causing damage to their ship. TRENTONIAN’s coxswain, Chief Roberts and AB Nick Tarasick are on deck during cleaning stations.
