HMCS TRENTONIAN covered in ice, takes on fuel before leaving the bone chilling cold of Halifax for warmer weather in Bermuda in February 1944. The corvette and her crew will spend almost two weeks in Bermuda for work up and training evolution’s, getting their newly commissioned ship ready for Convoy Operations on the North Atlantic.
