HMCS LEVIS torpedoed by U 74 on 19 September 1941, 120 miles east of Cape Farewell, Greenland while escorting Convoy SC-44. Seven of the nine Barracuda’s returned to Canadian manned escort aircraft carrier, HMS PUNCHER following a mine laying operation in Haugesund Fjord, Norway on 22 February, 1945.
