HMCS TRENTONIAN arrives at Portsmouth on 13 June 1944, with the wounded from the cable layer HMTS Monarch following a friendly fire incident with USS PLUNKETT the previous night. Ambulances, medical staff and photographers are waiting, even though no news of this tragic event will be released by the RCN.
