McDonnell F2H-3 Banshee jet fighter on display at the Shearwater Aviation Museum in Nova Scotia. Thirty-nine Banshees were accepted by the Canadian Naval Air Service (CANAS) in 1955 and saw service with Squadrons VF 870, VF 871 and VX 10. This was the first Canadian fighter to be armed with missiles and remained in service until with the RCN until 1962.
