The crew of HMCS TRENTONIAN were awestruck by the famous battleship HMS RODNEY, when they passed her off Juno Beach in her unique camouflage on 7 June 1944. RODNEY had fired her guns in support of the 3rd Canadian Division attacking a fortified farm held by the 12th SS Panzer Division in Normandy.
