HMCS RENARD at Halifax in April 1944. RENARD is an armed yacht. Commissioned into the RCN early in the war and converted from private yacht to escort, until larger escort ships could be built. In this photo she is now working as a torpedo training ship and the torpedo tubes are easily visible on her deck.
