Bags are packed and hammocks rolled as two shipmates from HMCS WASAGA, Lew Evans and Robert Massen depart HMC NAVAL CAMP outside of St. John’s, NF in 1942. The camp was provided to sailors from the escort ships as a rest area from normal ship routine. These two are returning to WASAGA and convoy duty on the North Atlantic.
