This photo was provided by several crew members HMCS TRENTONIAN, each had marked “Italian submarine in Bermuda” on the back of the photo. TRENTONIAN was working with practice submarines, referred to as “Clockwork Mice,” to train her asdic (sonar), depth charge and hedgehog crews in February 1944.
