HMCS NIPIGON (2nd) comes alongside HMCS OTTAWA (3rd) for a Jack Stay transfer during CARIBOPS in January 1981.

When we fired our Bolo gun the line landed across NIPIGON’s Bridge sending everyone ducking for cover. This was followed by several very derogatory words from NIPIGON.
