Update: Car Wash on the Trenton Subdivision in N Scale

A simple Car wash ensures all passenger cars leaving the VIA Shops.

I have completed some more work on the car wash in the VIA Rail Yard.

I posted an earlier blog as I was constructing the car wash. I have replaced the black plastic tubes that came with the kit with pipe cleaners and scratch built a base from 1mm styrene. Adding railings, grating and a chemical tank from other kits.

In this photo Kokanee Park passes through the car wash while the supervisor gives instructions to a yard employee servicing the car wash from an access man hole.

I have finished the ballasting and added weeds and brush where the concrete meets the gravel. The next step is to add signs and finer details.
