On 20 November 2012, Roger was invited to be the guest speaker at the Hastings County Historical Society. Over 100 members and guests attended Roger’s talk on his book Warships of the Bay of Quinte and a presentation on his next book White Ensign Flying. Roger also discussed the importance of passing our history on to future generations.

An excellent blog has been posted on the Society’s website, “Roger Litwiller held the audience spellbound with his stories of the Quinte region’s involvement in what may arguably be called the longest single battle in the history of mankind.”
