HMCS TRENTONIAN has an unprecedented pictorial record.  Allen E. Singlton, RCNVR was TRENTONIAN’s Sick Bay Attendant, joining the ship at Kingston for her commissioning and survived her torpedoing on 22 February 1945.  Allen was an avid photographer, turning his sick bay into a darkroom, he took pictures of everything around him.  To support his hobby, Allen would sell copies of the photos to his shipmates. Regrettably his full collection and negatives were lost with his ship.  Fortunately, many of his photos survived with his shipmates and have been gathered here and reproduced in White Ensign Flying, The Story of HMCS TRENTONIAN.
